Communication
  • SSB - Icom IC-M710 single-sideband transceiver can be used for voice and data communication.
  • VHF - Icom IC M402 VHF transceiver with remote microphone/speaker in cockpit at helm.
  • Inmarsat-C - Seasat 2 for data and weather information integrated with navigation computer.







Electronics
  • Radar - Raytheon R 20X Raster Scan (24 mile range)
  • Radar Detector - C.A.R.D System with alarm and visual direction indicator
  • Hailer - Horizon LH5; includes public address, foghorn and other automated signals plus listen mode for navigating in fog.

  • Sophisticated Charging - 100 amp Balmar alternator with twin belts and a three-stage Balmar smart charger and Blue Sea battery combiner keep engine start and house batteries fully charged.
  • Wind Generator
    • Ampair-100 provides 100 watts of charging power in 15-knot wind
    • It is quiet and never needs to be shut down at high wind speeds.
  • Solar Panels - Two (2) Siemens 55 watt panels provide silent power in sunny climes.
  • Power Monitor - Amp-Hour + monitors house bank voltage, current, and state of charge

  • Ship-Shore Switch panel - Permits operation of 110 VAC equipment on shore power or on-board 110 VAC inverter.

Galley
  • Stove - Seaward 3 burner gas (propane/butane) stove with oven
  • Propane locker located in lazarette protected with propane solenoid
  • Icebox - roomy well-insulated icebox with Adler-Barber Cold Machine refrigeration
  • Storage lockers and drawers provide adequate storage for supplies and galley gear
Ground Tackle & Windlass
  • Primary - 45# CQR anchor on bow roller with 175' of 3/8" BBB galvanized chain and 100' of 3/4" nylon rode spliced on the end.
  • Secondary - 25# Danforth anchor on bow roller with 150 ft of 3/4" nylon rode.
  • Stern - FX11 Fortress anchor with 150' of 1" nylon webbing on roller (webbing protected from sun with canvas cover).

Navigation

Plumbing
  • Water Tanks - two stainless steel vented tanks; 50 gal in each tank
  • Flojet Fresh water pump - automatic pump supplies galley, head, and cockpit outlets.
  • Fresh water foot-pump - can bypass automatic fresh water pump to lower consumption rate or cope with pump failure.
  • Watermaker - Pur Power Survivor 35 with pre-filter.
  • Head - NEW! Wilcox Crittendon Headmate
  • Holding Tank - NEW 20 gal. holding tank
  • Shower sump - Flojet pump drains shower sump in head
