Main Cabin

An 11' 6" beam makes for a spacious main cabin; good for entertaining as well as at sea

  • Water buffalo leather on both settees
  • Ports and white overhead make it bright below.
  • Full-sized captain's table seats 6 with no interfering mast or compression post.
  • Lockers for books, charts, cameras, and the myriad of equipment needed for long-distance cruising.

The snug 'U' shaped galley is on the starboard side - ideal for trade-wind cruising.

  • Double stainless steel sink
  • Easy-to-clean composite countertops (similar to Corian)
  • 3-burner stove and oven which has handled its share of Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys around the world.
  • Deep refrigerator, chilled by Adler Barbour Cold Machine, stores plenty of provisions and provides ice for in-port sundowners.
  • Lots of lockers for provisions, utensils, and dinnerware

Navigation station

The navigation area has modern equipment and displays, plus space for traditional charts, dividers, and rulers.

  • Forward-facing seat is comfortable and secure.

  • Garmin GPS within easy reach for viewing and control.

  • Electrical panels for monitoring and control of all 12VDC and 120VAC circuits

  • Computer connectivity and LCD display for chart-plotting, email, Inmarsat interface and yacht inventory and maintenance log.

  • Repeater for wind, speed, and depth instruments.

  • Back-up depth sounder

  • Overhead locker for instant access to EPIRB and safety equipment

The head has all of the essentials with no wasted space. Proper size for off-shore use.

  • Dependable Head-Mate toilet.

  • Hot & cold water at deep stainless sink.

  • Vanity/medicine cabinet with lots of storage.

  • Showering facilities with shower head, teak grate floor, easy-wipe Formica bulkheads and shower sump pump.

  • Plenty storage for linens, towels, and extras.

Forward Cabin

The forepeak with its large berth is comfortable for sleeping at anchor or in port and a good place to stow bulky items when going off-shore

  • Queen-sized berth; tapers at the foot.

  • Enclosed locker on each side for clothes and other paraphernalia

  • Storage under berth for large objects like sails, drogue, Turkish carpets, SCUBA equipment, etc.

  • Overhead shelves for books or supplies and good reading lights.

  • Hatch gives good ventilation and two fans provide a boost in hot weather.

Lockers -

 You can never have too much storage on a boat and Long Passages is blessed with lots of storage lockers, drawers and cubby-holes (approximately 50 below decks).
